Dodge WC series 2WD 1/2 ton civilian trucks built from 1941 through 1947 had 217.76 cid engines, as did Dodge WC series 4WD 1/2 ton military trucks built in 1941 and 1942. Dodge WC 1/2 ton military ambulances had 230.2 cid engines starting in October 1942. Dodge WC series 4WD 3/4 ton military trucks built from 1942 through 1945 had 230.2 cid engines. Dodge WC series 6x6 1 1/2 ton military trucks built from 1943 through 1945 (and civilian "flatfender" Power Wagons built from 1946 through 1960) also had 230.2 cid engines. This information applies to US military production and may not be accurate for vehicles furnished by the USA under the "Lend-Lease" aid program.
