I have 2 MU-3 winches on my 1968 W300, one on the front bumper and the other between the rear frame rails. I run both off the 10 hole PTO. Your 10 bolt PTO should have a stub drive shaft on the rear too, either splined or keyed. Remove the cotter pin, large castle nut and collar to get to it. I just ran the rear winch drive shaft off that. The rear winch drive shaft is made up a two sections. I and installed a "C" channel between the frame rails from which I hung a carrier bearing.

Where are you going to put the second winch? Why do you think you need a splitter box? Just disengage one winch when you operate the other one. Good luck!
