Hey guys my 230 didn't have an oil filter so I thought it would be a good idea to put one on. I pulled the plugs on the engine, got a filter from the junk yard, cleaned it, painted it, installed it and made new lines. Well it leaks bad the seal is new and perfect, the top tightens fine when I start it up you can see the top distort and oil spew. my question is how can you put an oil filter in parrallel with the oil system and filter all the oil if oil was getting to the places it needed before putting the oil filter on. next I will install an oil pressure guage and see what kind of pressure I have. thanks in advance
