well now
our backup generator is a 7.5 generac in our
motor home so i could run some ex cords to
power the stoves but the generator uses about
.6 to 1.0 gal/hr depending upon the load
but that is better than broken pipes in the
house. Our house heat is ELECTRIC so good
thing we have about 100gal gas in the motor
home
going to check with quadrafire tomorrow and
see what the stoves pull/require
