6 volt starter? Don't put a lot of cranking time on it, or you'll cook it! The 6 volt starter will work fine if all else is OK, but it's been sitting for a loooong time, so double check the timing, firing order,etc. I can help next week, but today I'm at the OffRoad Expo.....= )
