Air in hydraulic clutch line

It used to be that I thought the ultra-simple hydraulics of a master and slave clutch cylinder ranked high up there in the all-time great automotive designs...until I started fighting a spongy peddle. I have replaced master, slave, and checked the flex link. I have bled every way suggested--peddle(2 people), suction from the bottom, gravity, etc. --foam comes out to start and then clear. She's good for few days, sometims weeks. Then it starts getting spongy, peddle goes further before moving the fork. No drips I can find and it seems that the reservoir has increased volume.

I bleed it--foam again, then it's ok for a while.
