Oil companies, on average, see about 8% profit, per gallon of fuel sold. Governments, on average, see about 24% profit on each gallon of fuel sold.
Seems like another middleman needs to be cut out.......
Just as a comparison, some industries, like furniture retailers, make about 125% profit...
