Right on Jerry, My stepdad was a Marine Radar Tech Sgt. during the Gilbert and Okinawa Battles. He never talked about it and I sure asked. We all wished he would have and maybe it could have allowed him to still be with us. He took his life in 1956 and my mom was sure the war had affected him seriously.
