1940 VF404 4X4

We just acquired a 1940 VF404 military 4X4 1 1/2 ton dodge truck. It came off of a ranch where it was used to haul hay. It hasn't been used in at least 25 years because the bed is almost totally rotted off. The frame had been extended almost four feet from its original length. The floor had two or three inches of walnuts and dirt in it but now it is all cleaned out. We haven't tried to start it yet because it is all still a 6V electrical system. We are thinking of taking the frame back to its original length when we start to work on it. Anyways, we didn't know if anyone else had one of these or knew much about them.
