I use Shell Albida LC1 in the ~240 track rollers on the Tucker Sno-cats. They also make a slightly thicker LC2. That was what the guy at Pacific Petroleum recommended for a water-resistant grease, since the track rollers aren't sealed in any meaningful way and they get very wet. He thought LC2 would be too stiff for the track rollers since they're immersed in snow. Since I already have the Albida LC1 on hand, it's what I use in water pump cups. Time will tell whether it's good or not. In most cases, the worst lubricants available today are as good as the best ones available 50 years ago, so I tend to think the precise lubricant isn't very critical. The main thing is to remember to grease and oil all the various points that are "lifetime lubricated" on modern rigs.
