Kevin, When my son, 8 at the time, fell off the stair rail and cracked his head open, and when we went to emergency and they considered life flighting him, and when we followed the ambulance down to the specialists hospital, and when I spent the night in the parking lot because only one of us could stay in the room with him, I felt absolutely helpless and had only god to pray to and I'm not a god fearing man, I was thankful I had atleast that. I knew this was out of my hands and that more powerful forces were at work. It was truly a humbling experience and one that has changed me under the surface.
I hope that everything with your son, turns out to be nothing more than a learning experience, as mine was with my son.
My family's heart goes out to you guys and we'll pray for the best for you and your son. Positive attitudes are the best thing going in times like this. Best wishes to you all.
