The previous owner did away with the tube connected to the distributor.
I believe this was intended to cool the coil.
Obviously, I would think that could be a main contributor.
Any one else running without the tube attached?
It seems likely that I'll end up having to replace it. (Although... from what I have seen in photos, it doesn't look like it does much.)
