I'm no math major, (but there are some here who will help me out with the big numbers...) Let's say that you get 17mpg average and the hubs add 1 mpg to your fuel economy. In 100,000 miles that's an improvement of 5,555 miles, or 308 gallons. At $3.00 per gallon (it's going down in price at the moment but let's assume that Iran nukes France) the 308 gallons cost savings is $925.00, so plan on driving that truck another 110,000 miles to break even and don't let momma see this post...= )
Point is and drivel always has a point...= ), you can buy a lot of fuel for $2,000 and these deals almost never work out, even in the long run, BUT for $2,000 you could have converted that Cummins to run on P100 and saved about $17,000 per 100,000 miles, IF you have a buddy who owns a resturant....
