I don't know if you are going to cross at Detroit or Port Huron. I personaly have been hauling freight into Canada for 29 years crossing the Bluewater bridge at Port Huron-Sarnia. The two main things I can tell you is get a broker to handle you paper work going each way & your going to have more trouble on the US side. Ever since 9-11 getting back on home ground has became a real problem. I have been hauling the same load for years and know what paper work I need & have been heldup for hours on US side by some US boarder agent that has no idea what he is talking about before being released. Take my advice stay in the US and avoid the problems.
