I like the sanding boards. The longer the better in general. I have an air driven boar for sanding the filler down. It really works well. I apply little pressure and let the strokes of the board to the work. I sand with the board in all directions to get a better surface.

For sanding the filler primer I ususally go back to a hand board I use several sizes. Often the longer the better for straight or single radius panels. For compound curves I use a flexible block that has a 1/4 of harder rubber on the bottom side. This allows it to flex but still have a flatter surface for sanding a smooth surface. I have been known to use my air board for sanding the filling primer, but I use nothing less than 600. I usally do not use it as I am usually wet saning an using an air board really makes a mess.
