Have you tried NAPA for new ones? depending on condition you shouldn't need to hone for more than a minute or so. IF pitting is real bad no amount of honing will help. if they look good clean them exceptionaly well with brake clean then wash yoru hands before installing new parts. If your pistons are made of steel clean those real good and re use them. Steel piston are MUCH better than the aluminum ones, the aluminum ones corrode from electroisis caused by unlike materials and heat. I put a light film of brake fluid on the pistons before installing them
