Wulfman,

You may try a company in Oregon called Transmission Exchange Co (www.txchange.com). The contact I dealt with is Spencer Hodes and can be reached at 1-800-776-1191 or at spencer@txchange.com.

For reference here are prices of some of some of their rebuild kits:
NP420 for 49.62$, input bearing alone 12$ (bearings and gaskets but no output shaft oil seal but it is available locally).
NP435 for 103.95$ (bearings, gaskets, seals and small parts).
NP200 for 172.25$ (I haven't confirmed what's in the kit but Tim has the list he may post).

Above is a picture of the NP420 kit I received from them. The bearings are manufactured in Japan by Nachi-Fujikoshi Corp. FYI, Timken sometimes substitutes Nachi bearings in their boxes. One thing you should be aware is the bearings I received for the NP420 were not shielded so if one does heavy off-roading you risk having some oil pouring out of the input shaft (the NP420 doesn't have an oil seal on the input shaft but instead relies on a series of spiral groove on the shaft to bring the oil back into the case).

Tim may be able to report his experience when he receives the kit he ordered from them.

Regards,

Mike
