It wasn't my grandpa, it was my uncle, and my Dad was at Bastonge (see above post). I really am not bothered by what you have, hell, I had a Chevy (oh no, sorry, I used the C word) Luv truck and my wife worked for Sony for almost 15 years.
Yes, times change, but what was old is new, and some things NEVER change. Some old English dude once said "A rose by any other name still stinks." FYI; to this day, the Japanese DO NOT acknowledge WW II and their part in it. They barely mention it in their schools. What IS mentioned is how WE nuked them.
I don't hold a grudge against anybody that is trying to survive. I found that the regular folk EVERYWHERE want pretty much the same thing, 3 squares a day, a roof over their heads and a better life for their kids. I can't fault ANYBODY for that.
Just because somebody sells us something don't make em our best buds. History NEEDS to be learned and REMEMBERED, so we don't repeat our mistakes. The folk that wanted to bring us down then, STILL want to bring us down now (only their tactics have changed). Leopards don't change their spots, and like in the song, even if ya feed, shelter and love a rattle snake, it's still gonna bite ya given the chance. So there!
