the problem with these tires is that there is no sideways grip, in the rockcrawling world, sips or small slices are put in with a hot heated knife, to allow the tires to grip, on snow ice or rocks, lateral grip,, the best snow tires are the ones with most sips, and some LUGs,,, Mickey thompson has some great tires,, that's what i use on my plow trucks,, or BFG's all terrains,
