Today was a good day to work in the shop. Rain day. A friend who was having trouble with WC3/4 ton. Running out of gas. Ever try to fix a car over the phone. Well he finally brought the truck to me. 2 hour drive. Found the old pieces of rubber fuel line in the carb. It is the Zienith Carb. First time I got to work on that kind of carb. Nice carb. simple. The way it should be. Gave it a good clean out. When he cut the steel lines thats were the problem is. All I did was made a fresh cut, cleaned the line smooth and new rubber hose. Thats it she ran great. Gave the air filter and pcv filter fresh oil. Oh what a feeling. No big parts involved in the repair just some time and thought. It was a great afternoon. It was poring down rain or I would have taken her out for a ride. Now I have to remove that eletric fuel pump he installed because of the dirt. Never did like those things unless it came that way. Good, simple and reliable thats the Dodge Way. I just wanted to know. Take care, Bill Shollenberger.
