Well I put three 7/16 chains around the wheels and lock ring to keep it from flying off and doing anything. Thats about 30,000 pounds of combined reaking strength. I figured that would be enough, but I wasn't about to take any chances. So I fired up our backhoe and placed the loader bucket over the ring with just enough room to use the 6' remote airing device (better name?). Overall I am pretty sure that it could have blown off without hurting me. Have you ever mounted and aired up your own tires? My way worked, but it was slow and tedious. I would like to find a better way for the future.
