Need 6x6 axle info

Looking at some 6x6 gov't trucks on auction next week.

What is the normal # rating for a front and a rear axle. I am looking for parts for a forklift project. I have an 8000# mast so I need stout axles and 4 wheel drive would be sweet.

Should I just knock my bus in the head and go 2wd instead? It has a 7000# front and 16000# rear.
