Ain't it fun? We were planin on going to Fairfield this year but had to cancel at the last minute. I wouldn't be so bent outa shape if we didn't have a deadline, and we HAVE to go, my wife told me (ain't it a bear when your wife forces ya to attend an MV show). HA! I suppose, worse come to worse, we can always take the deuce.
Because of the weather, I couldn't try and fire up the Beast. I DID get the rear hatch back, but didn't instal it (same reason). As a matter of fact, nothing got done today for that reason. It looks real purty too, with that bronze glass. Only costed $100.00, he did a rush job so I could have it back in time. He had already tossed the old gasket so I don't have any recourse with Vintage.
Another issue. Maynard wanted to dress up as a WW II GI for the show. We've been picking up various pieces of gear, ect, to go with that and also to go with the Beast. We ordered him a uniform set back in spring and was told it was shipped in June. It still ain't here yet. The guy's looking into it, but we still ain't heard back from him yet.
At least the wife's computer was delivered today. The regular UPS guy is on vaction which explains the different delivery time, which is why I missed it the other day. Once I get that bad boy hooked up (next week sometime) I won't have to come down to the dungeon as much to communicate.
