I apoligize for my wording I did mean enviornmentals.
And this area I was trying to get to was in fact just National Forest no private party ownership involved. It is a old wash but the Salt River Project (power and water for the valley) turned it into just a wash. I have followed it before to the head and there is no way for water to get into it except during a rain storm. Which if it is raining the entry into the wash is 8 ft deep and if you attempted to get in during a rain storm you will wash away.
But the boulders are about 50 ft after the entrance so I can't figure out why they did it. I tried to talk to the rangers but none of them knew why it was done either. It was after all that (my second trip to the place) when I tried to move the boulders but couldn't. The rangers never said I could or could not they just said they weren't aware as to why they were there. I still haven't gotten an answer from anyone so the next time I go out we will be taking horses cause they can still get thru between the boulders.
This whole thing is just frustrating it used to be a great camping spot since most folk were afriad to take thier pretty trucks down that path.
