1970 W300 Dodge Power Wagon - Tow Truck $5,500 [CA]

Previous owner County of Humboldt, California
VIN# E33BY0S149529
383 Cu. In. V-8 Engine, 65,000 miles.
4-Wheel Drive One Ton Chasis
4-speed Manual Transmission
2-speed Transfer Case
4.88 gears in the axles
Power Brakes

Dual 22 gal. fuel tanks. (I have installed an additional tank behind the seat, but it leaks at the top of the tank were the filler pipe goes in, so I don't use it.)
8,000 lb Warn Winch, Model #M8000 in bed.
5,000 lb Hydra-Tow Vehicle Lift on rear of bed.
Garaged since new till 60,000 miles.
Professionally Maintained!
Truck, Winch, & Lift in good working order. (Needs 2 batteries to power these accessories)
I have had to remove this accessory as there is a city ordinance against parking comercial vehicles in my neighborhood.
I have installed a regular hitch for towing my boat around the storage yard.

The interior of the cab:
The covering on the roof has fallen down. It is intact but needs to be installed.
The vinyl seat covering is torn. I have an aftermarket cover on it.

This is a great truck. When I went to pick it up, they were telling me about how they used to go pull out the sherrif' 4x4s when they would get stuck in the mud. They sold the truck because it did not work so well on the newer cars with the intergated bumpers.
I used the truck once to haul my Ford truck full of motorcycles back from a race weekend after the fuel pump died.
It is too much truck for me now as I don't haul the race bikes any more, and the suspension is too stiff for driving it unloaded.
There is also a parking issue where they give you tickets if it doesn't move every 72 hours.
