I used to use the Rustoleum religiously on my Jeep, but back then I had a friend that worked for them and I would get it by the case for free.
The 1 Step is about $35.00 a gallon and seems to work great. It also protects the bright shiny stuff too. It's just some areas ya can't get bright and shiny, and this stuff gets in there. You can paint right over it too.
