got a call from a local guy who wanted to show me all his Dodge trucks.
He has a government contract 1968 or 1969 W500 with the 2.5 ton rockwell axles with a crewcab. This thing is HUGE and no lift kit. It originally had a brush truck bed on it that they kept. Dually's on the rear running 20 inch budd rims. Engine was blown he did not recall what it originally had but is putting a 392 hemi in it now. Truck is from the Sierra Nevada mountains and rust free. He said he was going to put a rollback on it I tried to talk him into a 9 foot utiline(stepside) bed for it to make it even better. I forgot to ask the gear ratio but am sure it will not be a hiway cruiser being an ex brush truck.
Sorry no pics he wouldn't let me take any but next week I'm going to go see his 58-60 W300 he wants to sell. He didn't recall what year as he isn't too knowledgeable on the power giant trucks.
