Like I have said I made a huge mistake. I misjudged the amount of time I would need to rebuild the tranny and by the time I had everything to the point of exhuasting all the problems that I could fix it was the middle of sunday afternoon. I do realize that in retrospec I could have called and had someone stop by and let everyone know what happen but I didn't think about that at the time all I could do was keep my head down and keep working. I was wrong and am admitting it openly.
There have been times when I was right to keep trying to fix a problem rather then throwing in the towel but this wasn't one of them. I can clearly see that now. I am rather stubborn and pigheaded and prideful and often that serves me well this isn't one of them.
I didn't have Doug number that I can remember or would have called and bummed a ride I used to have yours but when I destoryed my phone a few weeks back I never reloaded your number. I couldn't find where I wrote it down. As I said before not trying to make excuses I made a commitment and fell thru with it. It comes down to that. I can only ask for forgivness and try to keep on.
I alone am responsible for my actions or lack thereof. There were other ways I could have handled this but I didn't. Please forgive me and know that I feel no malice towards anyone on this forum for anything that was said I goofed that's all there is to it.
