Battery/Alternator Question

I plan to upgrade the 35 amp alternator on my 1967 WM300 to at least a 60 amp alternator. I don't plan to run high-draw accessories like a snowplow or AC, but I do plan to install an electronic ignition kit. I want to get the best battery I can. The Sears recommended DieHard Gold battery puts out 640 cold cranking amps. That's more than twice the 251ci.

Here's the basic dumb electrical question: Will a 60 amp alternator be capable of charging the 640 CCA battery? I know I will need to change the voltage regulator. Any other things I need to consider?
