Robert;
The PPG MOA Chassis black cures in a Semi Gloss, actually more Satin. PickleX 20 comes in a spray bottle. You spray a very light coat on all steel and let it work for about 3 minutes. Then with paper towels wipe dry. I blasted by M37 Body/bed last fall. Picklex 20 was applied and she sat in the shop until last week with only picklex 20 protecting agains rust. Not a bit of rust could be found, about 11 months.

I spray my lock rings with a Aluminun Color paint I get in a Rattle Can at the Auto Body Store.

PickleX 20 will turn some areas Brown where it contacted rust. This is good, not harmful, you spray right over it. I just take a piece of Scotch Brite to be sure the PickleX 20 substrate is smooth. I dont try to sand it.

Paul
