Wow, the people in Skedattle have really changed since I was there, must be all them transplants from LA. ;>) The Beast has a 318 Poly with a NP540 trans (my transfer case is still a mystery). I also put in 4:89 gears in the axles, so in theroy, I shouldn't have any trouble towin my TT.
If I ever win the lotto, or discover a rich dead relative, I'd like to swap the 318 for a diesel. Got a bunch of work to do on the TT too. It's been sitting unused for a while now, and the Mrs has turned it into a closet/storage room.
I think she did that on purpose as I used to threaten her with leaving in my TT if she didn't let up on whatever had her goat at the time. Now, it'll take a whole day to empty it out if I just toss the stuff on the lawn. HA!
