OK, I measured mine. There are two layouts because holes in the hat section are staggered, so some bolt to each 'brim' of the hat, alternatley.
3ea have holes at: 2 1/8, 19 3/8, 36, 51 1/16, 66, 74 1/8, and 95 1/16.
The other two strips have two holes different, 38 11/16 instead of 36, and 63 7/16 instead of 66.
My strips measured 95 3/4.
Two questions though: Do the fronts of the boards get bolted directly to the head board?
The edge strips with the angles welded to the bed sides: are they straight pieces cut from one long one, or do I need special parts?
Do the wider outer borads get a wider rabett, so the bolts go through the boards, or do the bolts go off the edge of the board, like the inners?
