Thanks for the replies below. I was at a local tractor show this weekend and saw alot of tractors from the 40s with full-flow filters. By the way, I took photos of a Co-Op tractor with Chrysler industrial engine and 5 speed transmission that I will post on my site soon.

David, can you post pictures, instructions, and parts/sources for the conversion you made? When you tapped the block for larger fittings was this during a complete rebuild or is there a way to do this without fouling the engine with metal shavings?
