Oil Filter Questions

I have read on this forum that all of the 251 engines have full-flow, full pressure oiling systems. Each of my 251 engines has a remote canister type filter (which I assume to be bypass) that looks just like the filter on my 230 engine. Do all full-flow systems include a screw-on type filter? Thanks.
