Mac hit it on the head! 9:00 am for the run to the Grand Canyon. We will all meet down town. You really can't miss it there is only one road that goes clear thru town and that is RT 66.
If you can't find Rt 66 then ask a local they could always use a laugh!
When you get on to RT 66 you will be able to see us-we will be the folk with the Dodge Power Wagons and other Dodge trucks.
So far I have recieved 42 notices from people who are coming and bringing at least one truck.
I will be sitting in/at/on/near my truck for the most part of the day. I am waiting for the offical notice from the forest service to find out which trails will be open when we get there. The head Ranger is a guy I know and he is keeping me informed. So far the Devil Dog trail and White Horse Lake trail are open. I am hoping we can go to Stone Dam. It can be challenging during the rain which we are getting a forecast of rain for that weekend.
If your not a Arizona kid that may sound bad, but for those who live in the desert it's a good thing. The entry fee into the Grand Canyon itself is about 10 bucks per vechile. I do have a flyer but my darn computer is acting up right now. I will email it to you as soon as I can. I hope to see you there. If you have any other questions let me know.
