Only 19 days till the Arizona Grand Canyon Rally. Mac I found a Bambi stamp for you so you can track your antlered rat kills. I'll bring it to the rally! For those who aren't aware we are meeting for the rally in Williams on the morning of the 5th of August at 8 am. We will meet downtown on RT 66 (just like the song it's the place to get your kicks) and start the day with a run to the Grand Canyon!
For those like me who don't want to go to the Canyon- the city has agreed to block half of the street off for us to display our trucks. Our current count is right at 40 trucks who have announced their intention to be there. After everyone meets in the morning I will let you know about the rest of the activities and different trails we can drive.
I would be more specific but with partial closings of the forest right now I would hate to say we could use a certain trail and then find out it was closed. The one thing for sure is that we should all have a good time!
If anyone has any questions feel free to email me or post you questions on the forum (thanks JOE)and I will respond as soon as I can. Or if one of the others who is going has the answers they may post the info if they want to.
The silk screen printer for the shirts is running a litte behind but he said the shirts should be ready in time! I told him to put his kids back to work in the sweatshop and they should get done quicker. If he keeps the twinkies coming they have a tendency to work faster.
I also called my buddy who tracks the herds of elk and deer for the forest service and he said the herds are close to the roads but not as close as they usually are. So not as much road kill this year (sorry Mac you may not get your kill for AZ)!

Well that's all for now I'll try to keep you posted as things get closer!!!!
