The Helitool Suspended pedals, as supplied do not have any bolts on the lower edge of the mount. When I first installed the suspended pedals on my Bumblebee back in 2001, I noticed that when the pedal was pushed hard the firewall would deflect. This was before I ever hit the street. I made a backing plate out of .250 stock. Drilled holes in the lower edge of the suspended pedal plate. Then the backing plate was mounted on the engine side, sandwitching he firewall between that and the pedal mount. This took all deflection out. I did my Carryall the same way and My m37 (also using helitool suspended pedals) will be the same .
