The shear pins I bought from them years ago were NOS and cast in what I thought was iron. They proved too weak for regular use so I switched to grade 5 bolt and that works great. Grade 5 is not so strong that things will get damaged elsewhere. I sheared a grade 5 bolt off once in a situation where I should have been using a snatch block. Put it a new bolt, good as new.
