They are one in the same winch. The 6x6 probably used a stronger shear pin on the driveline yoke attachment. I tried running stock shear pins on one of my trucks and they shear very easily. Now I run a grade 5 bolt instead of the stock cast shear pin. Once I sheared a grade 5 bolt in a situation where I should have been using a snatch block. But I proved that a grade 5 bolt, which is much stronger than a stock shear pin, will shear before any damage occurs to the gears inside the winch. From my exerience in using MU2s I say they ratings of 5K and 7.5k are underestimated. I have winched people out of situations where there 12K Warn or Ramsey electric winches could not get them out.
