A common cracking point is the door frame of the cab. The lower front corner and the top back at midway through the arch. My 1947 WDX and 1950 B2 are cracked in about the same spots.I attribute it to the stiff ride and early cab mounting.My WW2 closed cab GMC and Chevrolets aren't cracked, possibly because they're slightly thicker gauge sheet metal and of three point mounting instead of four?
