got the Nevada 46 home last night. Interesting things on this pretty clean truck. Engine side skirts are painted seawolf green as well as the shackles for the leaf springs. This truck also has the extra piece on the end where the spare is. Also the rims are painted seawolf green on date coded 46 budd rims. So you guys that paint your rims to match your truck could/would be correct.
This truck is an all original with some rancher modifications as typical. Never repainted and spent it's 60 year life on a 22,000 acre ranch bought in downtown Elko, Nevada in 1946 and never left the ranch until yesterday showing almost 50,000 miles on the pristine speedo.
Only rust I found was one corner of the W/S frame not too bad and one nickel size spot on a front lower bed pocket.
Also have the original handcrank and 2 Fairmount tools found under the seat.
