As our politicos say, let me make this perfectily clear, I am here and all of you are over there. Not that it gets lonely, there is always something going on. There is a major shortage of PW's here. Stories of how they were pushed into the gulch and covered up most common. When something is used up here it is well finished. Gas prices are up so I drive the 1944 GPW mostly. I save the Dodges for dump runs, airport, and the occasional liquer store. Manny and family from NY have stopped by, Jonas with family and Bart clean out my beer, Some Canadian MV collectors. Dave Butler several years ago. I met one person in Hana, far end of island and he later became addicted to PW's. Being an old guy I do not participate on the forum to often. It is a new family except for the oldest living things,, Joe and Mike Stone. I do keep contact with forum friends from years past. The invitation is open to anyone visiting the island to stop by. Something new to learn or just some well worn BS. We are mostly all the same, at least in our dedication to old iron. Just finished an old steam eng, but no way to post the pics. 12 foot flywheel. It would be nice to visit. If you come this far out in the Pacific, stop by. If Jonas hasen't been here there may be a cold beer left. David Maui
