Yes Mike, I checked my scheduled tasks and the only thing that was sceduled was the Virus and Windows updates. I enlisted the help of someone who is more adroit with the thinky-box technology. He found a masked program running in the background. He said it was a compiler of some sort. I had heard of this sort of thing before. Apparently they hack your computer and use it as a node in a large matrix of other computers.
At least that's how I interpreted what I was told. There were a couple of other issues that were magnifying the problem but the fundamental problem was the stealth program.
