Yes it does. The drive shaft is 90 degrees out of phase and this should be corrected. Vibration and short joint life can be expected. Someone had a link to a web site about driveline phasing a while back, but I can't seem to find it right now. I think it's bookmarked on the other computer; I'll check later and post it if you need it.
I learned the hard way about drive lines on farm equipment. Nothing like dodging hunks of driveline while baling hay.
