About every junkyard I have been in had at least one.

I wish I had my camera with me a few days ago. I was at a stop light and saw an early '50s GMC turn off the road into a parking lot with a tree trunk between the grill and bumper. It was not nearly that old of a tree, maybe 7-inches in diameter. The truck was mostly surface rust with new baby moon chrome wheels and tires. They had just sawn off the trunk about 6 inches below and 24 inches above the bumper and left the remainder there.
