Good point. I'm refurbing a PW now- will be for another year. I've already done a Helitool-type power brake system under the floor. But the M37 type concept is interesting... it allows leaving the column in a more original location, rather than shifting it to the out side- I had to bend my clutch pedal on the 1/2t for clearance.

But some more ideers: If one were to buy a reverse rotation box with the wrong mountings, then strip it, and weld/braze a flange to it for mounting to the original bolt pattern, the shaft could stick out further...

Or mount the 70's dodge box clear out by the front bumper, with the drag link going backwards to the steering arm. Jeeep did it that way on Jeepster Commandos ~72 et al.
