I sampled the original picture in Photo Work Shop 7, then clicked on custom colors to bring up thre Pantone Color Book. You can see in the picture the light, none shaded areas translated to Pantone 574C and the shaded areas translated to Pantone 575C. I then took a PW Outline frawing I made and filed in the colors by just sampling the light and dark on the Tropical PW. Then I selected Both of the Pantone colors and paited a box directly above each truck with that color. You can see to the naked eye, its a perfect match.

Steve, I just sampled the picture you posted in the non shaded areas of the front door. The color selected kicked back Pantone 574C. Thats it.

From What I learned today, if you give a body shop that on top of things a Pantone Number, they can cross it to the Paint Product Number they sell. As a final check, do you know if that was a PW Green or a Green used on some other vehicle. Can you find the Year/Make and color name on that PW. Then a quick check in the Autocolorlibrary.com and we have it for sure. Good work Steve, Thats going to be my next color. Or who owns the Truck in your picture.

Paul
