Hi all,
I know this has been discussed before, and yes I have searched the archives with no luck. Here is the question: In installing a 318 poly, with an NP-540, using the Helitool mounts, will the cab need to be cut out for the transmission top cover/shifter lever. It looks like it might fit under the cab sheetmetal, (where the center floor section hooks at the front) but I will need to pivot the engine/tranny down in the back to get it under the cab lip. If I will need to cut it out, I will just go ahead and cut and save the doomed to fail attempt at lowering the rear of the engine to see if the cover will fit. I already know that the center floor pan will need modifications. I had been hoping I would not need to cut the cab.
Thanks,
Tim
