Mikes nice 1948 B-1-D (Look at the picture, folks.) is a TWO WHEEL DRIVE. Note that it has six (6) wheel bolts.

That dual set up is the only one that does not use the two piece lug nuts that have been well described and pictured.

For the B-1-D the dual rims have alternate bolt holes beveled in and out. The wheels are installed with the "innies" and the "outies" matched together. The wheels are "indexed" so the valve stems are 180 degrees apart.

If the "innies" and the "outies" are not properly matched, the wheel studs will be too short. There is always a possibility that several wheel studs have been replaced with incorrect (too short) ones, but if the original studs are there they should work.

The only explanation in the B-1 Dodge Shop Manual is a picture at Figure 7, Page 214.
