I have a Cummins 4BTA in my Carryall and one in my M37 (under construction). Both are runnin 4BTA's (cpl 857), NV-4500 Transmission married to a NP-205, turning 4.89 ring and pinions and 36" STA Super Lug Tires. Both trucks have 4 wheel disk brakes, power steering and a lot more. My Carryall is 7300# and I got 25.9115 MPG on an extended trip last summer, with a lot of the miles on bad roads, all good roads and I think I would have been close to 30 MPG. I expect equal or better with the M-37 since its lighter. When mt M37 is complete, a Cummmins 4BTA (cpl 857) will be installed in my FFPW.

I have some albums on Image Event that shows the Cummins installed. Email me if you would like more info.

The link below will take you to the main album page, you can navigate from there thru the albums. Of special interest, '1943 Dodge Carryall', 'M-37 Bandit'. And to your question on Highway Worthy, check album 'Translabrador 2005'.
